Context

The Lagoon Sixty 5 cruising catamaran is the admiral ship of the Lagoon fleet

Designed by naval architecs VPLP in Paris and built by CNB shipyard

Gsea Design was in charge of validating the proposed internal structure and hull / deck scantlings in order to comply with the Bureau Veritas regulation codes.

Analysis of the scantlings with various loadcases:

Local loads like hydrostatic pressure on the hull and deck

Global loads in accordance to the Bureau Veritas regulation (broaching…)

Analysis of specific problems like bulkheads or openings deformation, handling of the deck when lifted, all rig related reinforcements…
